Information we collect
Account details (name, company, email, phone, country), content you create (RFQs, products, messages, quotes) and technical data such as IP address for security and audit purposes.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace, match buyers and suppliers, send notifications you have enabled, prevent abuse and improve the service.
AI processing
When AI matching is enabled, structured RFQ and supplier product data (not passwords or contact details) may be sent to our AI provider to rank supplier relevance.
Sourcing assistant (homepage chat)
Signed-in users can chat with our sourcing assistant. Your messages are stored with your account and may be processed by our AI provider to search the marketplace; your email and phone number are not sent to the AI provider. When the assistant recommends a supplier, that supplier sees only your name and what you asked. Your contact details and the chat are shared with a supplier only after the supplier requests them and a Dial4Export administrator approves.
Sharing
Buyer identity is shared with a supplier only through the lead workflow (e.g. when you contact them or send them an RFQ). Uploaded documents are stored privately and are only accessible to authorised parties.
Your choices
You can update your profile and notification preferences in Settings, or contact us to request deletion of your account.
